"Super soft and comfortable. Stayed in place well. Very, very absorbant - managed around 5 hours on a heavy flow with no leaks, which a disposable pad can't do. Came out of the wash white even after several days of waiting to be washed. Much better than the disposable pads I'd been using."
Should I choose bamboo or bamboo charcoal reusable maternity pads?
We've got a great article here explaining the difference between bamboo and bamboo charcoal reusable maternity pads. In summary, bamboo charcoal won't show the blood as much, which you may or may not prefer. Some woman like to know how much they are bleeding, especially after birth.
And obviously, the grey fleece won't show any bloodstains, meaning it is easier to wash. However generally a squirt of laundrystain remover and COLD water washing mean that these pads won't stain.
The bamboo charcoal will also stay softer over time.
"Soaks a lot of blood. Great for flooding. I found to be the best pad to avoid leaks. Just need to be mindful that even though it’s so absorbent, sometimes the flooding is too much for any pad and it will leak. My period is very heavy flooding due to being peri menopause, so have changed from disposable pads to these as disposable ones just didn’t hold blood. I was leaking through clothes at work and had to go home to change clothes. But now I use these, I’m finding I can make it an hour and half to two hours before changing on heaviest days and then just change it at lunch and break at work on lighter days."

Tips for using Cheeky Pads:
Cotton and Bamboo / Bamboo Charcoal facing upwards
Insert the pad into your knickers with the plain grey cotton / bamboo or bamboo charcoal face upwards, pattern side down. Close the poppers underneath the gusset of your knickers.
Tight Pants
Firstly, try to wear fairly tight fitting pants. If you usually keep your old, saggy pants which have really seen better days for that time of the month, time to invest in some new ones! Tighter pants will help a cloth pad stay in place and avoid slippage. Cotton knickers are best or cotton / lycra mix.
Turn 180° if you suffer from slippage
The soft outer plush fabric has some grip - if it is inserted against the nap of the fabric. If you notice that your pad is slipping, turn it around 180 degrees, front to back.
