Cheeky Pants Cloth Sanitary Pad 5 Multi-pack from Cheeky Wipes.
What's the difference between these and the bamboo plush pads? The ultrapads are made of cotton which is a natural material rather than plush which is man made. As such it tends to be cooler to wear. They are also thinner, so if you prefer a thinner more discreet pad or if you're buying for a teenager, these are perfect for you. They are also less likely to move around as the cotton fabric will stay in place better. The downside of being thinner is that they are less absorbent, so if your periods are on the heavy side, we'd recommend the bamboo plush instead.
Optional: Add some reusable intimate wipes or a double wetbag to keep your clean and dirty pads and wipes in or for using out and about
Mixed use packs contain the following - 5 pack has 1 liner, 3 day pads, 1 night pad.
Wear and Care Instructions: Popper in with plain side to body, patterned side to pants. Wash at 20c or 30c, warm washing sets blood stains and can damage your pads. Line dry, reshape whilst damp. Have a read of our blog with loads of hints and tips from Kirstin on our Customer Services Team

Cheeky Pants Cloth Sanitary Pads are an eco-friendly, healthier, more cost effective alternative to disposable pads. For those new to cloth sanitary pads (csp) the concept can be a little “Ew!” but to be honest using cloth as opposed to disposables is more comfortable. Because they are so much more absorbent, moisture is drawn into the pad, leaving you feeling fresher for longer.
Disposables have to contain lots of nasty toxic chemicals, dioxins and gels to enable them to be absorbent, which can lead to sensitive skin, irritation and thrush. Bamboo however, has a natural antibacterial quality and because it allows your skin to breath, can potentially reduce the risk of yeast infections and discomfort.
Of course it goes without saying that cloth pads will cost a fraction of what you would be spending on disposables each month which just end up sitting in landfill!
Why not add some of our reusable intimate wipes to your order and / or a wetbag for carrying clean and dirty pads / wipes? You can also buy the pads in packs of 5 or 10 , alternatively take a look at our Cheeky Pants Sanitary Pad kits and SAVE money!
Tips for using Cheeky Pads:
Cotton and Bamboo / Bamboo Charcoal facing upwards
Insert the pad into your knickers with the plain grey cotton / bamboo or bamboo charcoal face upwards, pattern side down. Close the poppers underneath the gusset of your knickers.
Tight Pants
Firstly, try to wear fairly tight fitting pants. If you usually keep your old, saggy pants which have really seen better days for that time of the month, time to invest in some new ones! Tighter pants will help a cloth pad stay in place and avoid slippage. Cotton knickers are best or cotton / lycra mix.
Turn 180° if you suffer from slippage
The soft outer plush fabric has some grip - if it is inserted against the nap of the fabric. If you notice that your pad is slipping, turn it around 180 degrees, front to back.
