Using Reusable Wipes in a Childcare Setting - what you need

Nappy Changes with reusable wipes

This kit has 50 wipes along with the boxes to store both ready made fresh wipes as well as the mucky box for used wipes. In your setting, it’s important to be aware of any allergies so we would recommend swapping out the lavender fresh oil for an additional mucky oil (you’ll get through it!)

You can prepare the fresh wipes in the fresh box in water and they will be handy and ready to use.

The mucky ones can then be soaked in water and tea tree oil in the mucky box. We would advise an additional mesh bag so the mucky box can be emptied halfway through the day (empty the dirty water into the toilet) rinse out the box and refresh with another mesh bag and cold water/tea tree oil.

If you have frequent changes throughout the day, you could consider a nappy pail (with lid) that will store a larger number of wipes. These can then all be washed together at the end of the day.

Using reusable wipes to clean Hands and Faces

This starter kit has everything you need and comes with these rainbow cotton wipes which are grippy and really soft so the perfect solution. Store the wipes dry in a fresh box and get them damp ready to use on each meal/snack session. The used ones don’t necessarily need to be soaked before washing so could be popped in a nappy pail / large pail liner / large wetbag until they are washed at the end of the day.
