How do I wear and wash my underwear for periods?

Wear your period undies just like regular underwear, but change in line with your flow. For more people this is every 4 to 6 hours, but if you regularly have to change pads and tampons, you may need to change these more frequently too. One pair of our super soft pants holds around two tampons worth of blood.

It varies from person to person. We recommend trying your reusable period protection at home first to see how they work for YOU! You shouldn't get leaks if you choose the correct absorbency and change in line with your flow - just like regular sanitary pads!

The pads should be poppered with plain side to your body, patterned side to pants.

How absorbent is the period underwear starter kit?

The GREAT thing about this period starter kit is that you have got 3 pairs of period pants AND pads. Meaning you can double up on protection for your heavy flow days!

For me, on my heavy days, I will wear one pair of pants with a pad and then just remove the pad at lunchtime. That leaves me wearing clean fresh pants for the rest of the day.

What's the difference between my cotton and bamboo pads?

The bamboo and charcoal period pads are a man-made material and are thicker they therefore tend to be better for heavier days of your periods. The cotton pads are a lot cooler to wear, it's a lot thinner if you prefer a more discreet pad. The cotton material helps the pad to stay in place and is less likely to move around!

These pants can only be returned/exchanged if they have been tried on OVER underwear and come back in their original packaging.

Machine wash cold (maximum 30 degrees) and then hang dry. Do not use bleach or fabric softener or put them in the tumble dryer.
