Flintshire Period Scheme

Welcome to the Period Proud Flintshire - Home Packs

Reusable period products straight to your door!

Funded by the Welsh Government, Flintshire County Council has teamed up with UK-based period product company Cheeky Pants, to promote period dignity and deliver free, reusable period products right to your door! This is in addition to the period products already available in all schools and various community locations.

As a Council we are committed to being Carbon Neutral by 2030 so we want to be able to support you to use reusable and environmentally-friendly products. It's easy to apply and you can choose a reusable period products pack to manage your period - delivered straight to your door!

Who can apply for the Flintshire Period Proud Home Delivery Scheme?

  • School attendees currently attending school in Flintshire County
  • Aged between 8 and 18 (If you are over 18, please click here to access period products)
  • Only one application per annum

How to apply for the Flintshire Period Proud Home Delivery Scheme

  • Choose which reusable period kit you'd like from the 4 below
  • On the product details page, please enter:
  • Add the product to basket and select Flintshire Home Delivery as your shipping option and then checkout using your home delivery details, ensuring that the name of the school pupil is used for delivery details and a suitable email contact address that can be used for verification
  • You will receive an email from Cheeky, confirming that we have received your order
  • The council will verify your order application (please allow 7 days / 14 days for verification)
  • Once verified, we will dispatch your reusable period products within a few days and will let you know via email.

Flintshire Period Home Delivery Bundles (Choose ONE only)

Young people (or their carers on their behalf) have the option to select one of either:

  • A reusable period cup with sterilisation pot & wet bag

  • A reusable pad kit containing FIVE reusable bamboo sanitary pads (mixed flow, 2 liners and 3 day pads) plus a wet bag

  • A reusable pants kit containing FIVE period pants (3 regular and 2 heavy flow) plus a wet bag.  Choose from low rise or mid rise cotton period pants.

Flintshire County Council Privacy Notice for Home Packs


Flintshire County Council require the name of your school, year group and date of birth to be collected by Cheeky Baby Products Ltd t/a Cheeky Pants, in addition to the personal information they collect as standard when processing this order.

The information will then be shared with the Council. This data will be processed under Flintshire County Council’s Legitimate Interests to confirm that you are registered at a Flintshire school and resolve any order disputes. This will enable Cheeky Baby Products Ltd to issue you with your chosen supply of period products and ensure Welsh Government funding is allocated appropriately.

You will also be invited by email to complete an anonymous survey once the project is completed. Flintshire County Council will retain your information for 3 months after the end of the project (June 2024) and will not share your data with any other organisation.
